Important Note:

1) After installing the AIO V2 expansion board. If the uConsole can't boot, make sure the ribbon cable is installed as shown in the picture below. Never ever plug in the charger if the ribbon cable is installed the wrong way; otherwise, it will damage the uConsole mainboard.

2) This is a pre-order product.

3) The uConsole shown in the photos is not included.

4) If your address is in the remote area list of the selected courier, your order will be charged for the surcharge later.

Statement Regarding AIO v2 Internal USB-C Power Supply Issue:

For orders shipped before January 15, the internal USB-C port may not supply sufficient current to the AC1200 Wi-Fi card.

The uConsole Multi-Functional Expansion Board is a versatile and powerful add-on designed to enhance the capabilities of your uConsole device. This expansion board integrates multiple functionalities, including RTL-SDR, LoRa, GPS, RTC, USB Hub, USB 3.0, and RJ45 Ethernet, making it an essential tool for developers, hobbyists, and professionals alike.

Key Features:

1. 1. RTL-SDR:

      • Tuner: Utilizes the RTL2832U and R860 tuner.

      • Frequency Range: Supports a wide frequency range from 100KHz to 1.74GHz.

      • Temperature-compensated oscillator (TCXO):  Accurate tuning and almost zero temperature drift.

      • 5V bias tee: This allows the RTL-SDR to power low noise amplifiers (like the LNA4ALL, HABAMP, RTL-SDR Blog ADS-B LNA) and active antennas through the coax cable. It can be enabled in software. The status of the bias tee power can be identified by the LED on the side.

      • HF Direct Sampling Mode: Listen to 100 kHz - 28.8 MHz with direct sampling.

      • Applications: Ideal for software-defined radio (SDR) applications, including radio scanning, spectrum analysis, and signal decoding.

   2. LoRa/Meshtastic:

      • Chip: Equipped with the SX1262 chip.

      • Frequency Band: Operates in the 860～960MHz band.

      • Output Power: Maximum output power of 22dbm.

      • TCXO:  Accurate tuning and almost zero temperature drift.

      • Applications: Support Meshtastic out of the box. Perfect for long-range, low-power communication projects, such as IoT devices, remote sensors, and wireless networks.

   3. GPS:

      • Multi-Mode Support: Compatible with GPS, BDS, and GNSS satellite navigation systems.

      • Antenna Options: Supports both active and passive GPS antennas.

      • Applications: Enhances location tracking and navigation capabilities for various applications, including drones, vehicles, and outdoor activities.

   4. RTC (Real-Time Clock):

      • Chip: Features the PCF85063A chip.

      • Battery: A CR1220 battery is used to ensure continuous timekeeping.

      • Functionality: Provides accurate real-time clock functionality, addressing the lack of an RTC in the uConsole.

      • Applications: Essential for time-sensitive applications, such as data logging, scheduling, and time-stamping.

   5. USB Hub/USB 3.0:

      • Outside Port: Includes one Type-C port on the side. The speed could be up to USB 3.0 when using with our uConsole upgrade kit and the CM5.

      • Internal Connections: Features an internal Type-C port. The speed could be up to USB 3.0 when using with our uConsole upgrade kit and the CM5. And a 2.0mm pitch pin header.

      • Applications: Expand connectivity options, allowing multiple USB devices and peripherals to be connected.

   6. RJ45 Ethernet:

      • Port: Includes an RJ45 Ethernet on the side.

      • Speed: 1Gbps.

      • Note:  This feature requires the new adapter board from the uConsole upgrade kit.

      • Applications: Ethernet access.

   7. Power Saving: SDR/GPS/LoRa/Internal USB can be manually turned on/off by the GPIO.  And they are powered off by default. So they can’t be accessed by default, and appear to be faulty. But they are not. You will have to pull a specific GPIO high to turn them on.
