The LTE/5G module connects to the Raspberry Pi 5's USB 3.0 port via a USB-A to USB-C adapter, eliminating the need for bulky data cables. Additionally, with a nano SIM card slot and power supply switch between the Raspberry Pi GPIO/PCIe FPC connector and USB-C port, the LTE/5G module can operate independently from the Raspberry Pi, enabling usage with other devices such as PCs and laptops. Onboard SMA antenna connectors allow direct connection to SMA interface antennas.
